Innerlog โ€” Your Private AI Journaling Companion

Effective Date: March 19, 2026

Pearlcity LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Innerlog mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

Innerlog is a private, AI-powered journaling application that helps you reflect on your thoughts and emotions. The App provides mood tracking, writing prompts, and AI-generated reflections on your journal entries.

Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the App.

Privacy at a Glance: Innerlog is designed with a privacy-first approach. All of your journal entries, mood data, AI reflections, and personal preferences are stored exclusively on your device using Apple's on-device storage (SwiftData). We do not maintain user accounts, collect email addresses, or store your journal data on any cloud server. The only data that leaves your device is when you explicitly request an AI reflection or weekly insight โ€” at that point, your journal entry text and mood data are sent to Google's Gemini AI service (via Firebase) to generate a personalized reflection.

We do not operate any cloud database or server that stores your personal information. If you delete the App, all locally stored data is permanently removed.

4. Your Consent and How to Revoke It

4.1 In-App Consent

You must explicitly accept this consent before any AI features are activated. If you decline, the App continues to function as a private journal.

4.2 How to Revoke Consent

You can revoke your AI data consent at any time:

  1. Open Innerlog
  2. Go to Settings (gear icon in the tab bar)
